Anabolic steroids have both positive and negative effects. Some positive effects are making muscles bigger by increasing the blood flow faster.On the other hand, some negative effects are make you fail your drug test and the chance of losing your job.
Many NFL players use steroids to help them gain muscle. For example, a player called Lyle Alzado has used anabolic steroids. It all started in 1971 when he joined the Cleveland Browns and played the defensive end. Between 1969-1978, he decided to use anabolic steroids to help him in his career which made him the super bowl champion in 1978. After years of using steroids, he got a brain tumor which got him killed in 1992 at an age of 42.
Anabolic steroids has ruined careers for many athletes.
