Should penitentiary stop the use of the Death Penalty? Wherever we look, we find criminals and crime happing in today’s society. Crimes have become a part of our everyday life. Eliminating crime and criminals is our primary duty, and we cannot ignore this issue by letting the criminals take over. The death penalty has been around for years, and has caused multiple issues with the society. Some criminals commit a crime because of the society we live in today, but some do it for fun. I feel like everyone does not deserve to receive the death penalty. However, a serial killer, who kills for fun or for personal reasons, then he or she definitely should receive the death penalty. How do we know if the death penalty really fear the minds of one, sometimes a person goes through so much and are ready to leave this world. Death penalty is one of the most extreme punishments that would create fear in the mind of any person. I think most criminals would think twice about a crime if the death penalty was just more than lethal injection. Before the leather injection came in tact the systems were using electric chairs and gas chambers. Stopping inmates from committing further crimes while in prison is unlikely, but if they are already facing the maximum punishment then some think it is ok to do more crimes. According to the law once a person has been sentenced to death or currently severing on death row, there is nothing that can be done to undo the punishment even if the person innocent. I think it is wrong for the state to put an inmate to death for no reason, and I feel that the law enforcement should do proper investigation before putting someone on capital punishment. The death penalty is considered as an extreme punishment the judicial system takes a lot of care in finalizing the decision which 80 percent of the time some people are still left innocent. I feel like if a person on death row is innocent, then he or she should be able to have rights to make an appeal and send it to a higher jurisdiction. Death penalty can come handy in some situation because it can help the society by elimination most of the criminals. I feel that it does not really make sense sometime to keep killing these people, because the way our society is there is so much killing going in the world. In about 20 years I think that death row will no longer exists because the crime rates will probably be double by this time, so the law would have to come up with another way to reduce this
