What if somehow, somewhere there was a hybrid of two completely different animals? Well that's where the Tunkle comes in. The Tunkle is a hybrid of the two strangest animals, a skunk and a turtle. The Tunkle spices lives in the deciduous forest and eats the plants and large bugs around it. You might be wondering why the Tunkles name is always capitalized, well in 1978 the Webster Dictionary thought that it would be fitting to capitalize its name since it is the best animals to ever grace the planet. Even though that is very interesting the most interesting thing about the Tunkle is that it is suitably adapted to the deciduous forest because of its magnificent traits. The main reason why the Tunkle dominates the deciduous forest is because of its physical adaptations, like its most recognizable shell. Its shell is a BCP (body coverings or parts) adaptation that helps the Tunkle by sheltering it in times of need or confusing the harmful predator. It's first behavioral adaptations is an instinct. The Tunkle was born with the instinct to play dead if a predator gets too close to him/her. This will confuse the predator. Another behavioral adaptation is something baby Tunkles learn. When a Tunkle is being raised it's mother teaches it how to hunt. Hunting skills include stalking, hiding, and clawing. The hunting skills will provide food for the Tunkle. The last adaptation is an instinctive adaptation. The Tunkle is born with the knowledge to stay with the baby while raising it. What is special about this is that usually only the mother stays with the baby while raising, however in the Tunkles situation, both the mother and the father stay with the
