The reason why I entered into the counseling profession was because I have always enjoyed talking to people since I was a little child about their issues and helping solve their concerns. When I reflected on this topic, I noticed that my felt-sense was feeling energized, happy, and seeing an image of a group of people smiling. I noticed that I received a bolt of energy while thinking about counseling and why I decided to pursue a master’s degree. I felt this sense of happiness and I had an image of a group of people sitting at a table smiling and this made me smile as well.
