Why Guns Should Be Allowed In Schools

If firearms were allowed in school, it would be a safer place for students so that they could stay well protected and learn knowing that they are safe, and that makes a beneficial education. Guns in school is a really good thing because staff that are responsible, would be able to protect their classrooms if there were to be a criminal or an insane person that comes to our school. Guns would be beneficial for the school because it would assure protection and safety for the school. Certain staff members would be handed a gun if they are responsible and sane enough, if a staff member that wasn’t really rational got a gun, things will go wrong.

Due to The Washington Post, they describe that “Most schools around the United States are preparing their students and staff on how to defend themselves in case the shooter is near them.” Preparing the students and staff would be a great way to defend themselves if guns weren’t in the possession of a staff. Defending yourself without a gun would be risky because fighting with bare arms is less effective. I think that they mean if you let guns allowed in school, staff that have guns would be able to defend the school before the police arrive. If guns were allowed in school, there would be a chance to prevent anyone in the school getting hurt or killed and that would be a good thing so that the school will have a chance to fight back. To prevent school shootings, guns should be allowed in school before lives are taken away.

If guns were to be aloud in school, it would be safer but if a gun was handed to someone that couldn’t control their self, the school would be in danger and would most likely to be a tragic thing. Guns should be allowed in schools because it secures the school from any threats that could be happening in the school.
