Through my experiences at college so far, I can say that I love studying engineering and that I’m happy with my choice of major: Materials Science & Engineering. But in addition to being at college to study engineering and earn a Materials Science degree, I’m at Pitt to learn what I want to learn and to further my own general education.
Because I can get myself such a quality education at Pitt, I believe it would be silly of me to forfeit the ability to acquire knowledge outside of the realm of engineering. That’s why I’ve planned my college schedule in a way that I’ll be doing something different, that I want to do, every semester that I’m here.
