Why I Chose To Go To College

When I graduated kindergarten I decided I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. I hope to achieve those dreams when I enter Point Park. Coming from a small community, I chose this college because it reminds me of home in so many ways mostly because it's a smaller school. My mind is filled with new ideas all the time and being in a comfortable environment helps in every way. Point Park looks like a place I could begin my journey to something fantastic and reach my full potential. My art skills developed a lot as child. When things would be rough at my house, I would go over to my grandmother's and she would teach me art skills. We would always watch the Syfy channel when I was over; I think in the end that is what helped me become so creative. I've gotten through a lot in my life, so I'm more self-motivated and I know with the help of going to college I can achieve my dreams and further improve my skills in the arts. I strive to be successful in animation and visual effects because I want to know how everything is made on screen because it absolutely fascinates me.
