My mouth watered as my knife sliced through the perfectly cooked piece of meat and I slowly began to raise it to my lips. As the London-broil touched my taste buds, that was when I knew – I was in hokie heaven. Seeing as food is the way to anyone’s heart, my love for Virginia Tech includes their food but also encompasses other aspects of this university. A few of the other reasons that I want to be a Hokie is the surge of acceptance and inclusiveness that all hokies show during football games and on campus.
