The United States Military is one of, if not the most elite of the armed forces in the world. The same stands true about the United States Air Force. These are two parts of the defenses that keep our nation protected and our people safe. The other parts include, but are not limited to, the Navy, the Army, the National Guard, the Coast Guard, and others. The men and women that have enlisted and enrolled in these different occupations have and always will be remembered as the heroes who defended our nation. There are many options for occupation in the military, almost too many to count. From combat specialties to health care, engineering and science, people have been employed to work for the United States military. I would want to do this job because it is a great cause, and I would like to be able to defend the nation I grew up in. It would be a way to give back to the many men and women who defended our country before our time, which won the land and kept it free. …show more content…
As soon as you are enlisted and verbally commit to the United States military, you can no longer back out. You must stay employed with the military for at least four years. This job takes many titles, such as combat specialist, where you would see actual combat, engineering, where you would help design, create, and test different items for the combat specialists to use, and many more. This job is one where you can decide where you want to go, and what you want to do while employed. It is also a job open for advancement, where you can earn higher titles along with higher pay
