Why I Want To Become A Veterinarian

Hands on experience is more effective than just reading a book. School should have partnerships with local companies that would allow students to explore many different professions. First of all, allowing students to visit local workplaces can set goals they want to try to meet in their future career. Second of all, letting kids visit all the different types of places and allowing them to work could teach responsibility. Third of all, schools getting to visit a veterinarian's office could provide first hand experience. If all schools had partnerships with local workplaces, it could lead to great opportunities.

First, one of my goals is to attend a university and become a veterinarian. One reason I have always wanted to be a veterinarian is because when I was little I was able to see them help a lot of animals. If children or students had the opportunity to see what a veterinarian does, it could lead them to their career path. If I could shadow a veterinarian it could help me decide if that is the career I want to pursue. I know that being a veterinarian is something I have always been interested in.
