Henry Thorean uses polysyndeton's throughout the essay of Why I Went to the Woods to show that society shouldn't stress over the little things in life. In other words, Thorean states a polysyndeton in the second paragraph of the passage. This piece shows on how you should simplify things to not stress over a million things for stressing over the smallest thing to make it build up. Thorean is trying to say that stress on what is important, on the two or three important things in life and not all the million small things. To repeat, Thorean uses another polysyndeton in paragraph four. The idea of being worried over everything popping up in the news isn't right, people shouldn't stress over to knowing everything .
