Mother Teresa once said “It is a poverty to decide that a child may die so you can live as you wish”. She is saying abortion is wrong. Abortion is killing a baby before they are even born. It can also have severe effects on body and on mind. There are also multiple options before and after becoming pregnant other that killing a child. I strongly believe that abortion should be illegal because it is truly wrong. First of all, abortion is the act of killing a baby before they are even born. The senate heard from medical experts about scientific evidence that proves unborn babies can feel immense pain during an abortion. Neonatologists and nurses are able to see that babies can react to outside stimuli like touch proving they can feel pain. …show more content…
First of all when having sex make sure he is wearing a condom it is not 100% effective but it will significantly help prevent becoming pregnant. Use birth control such as levonorgestrel/Mirena it is a type of birth control that is 99.9% effective. If pregnant while on birth control put the baby up for adoption instead of killing it. Over two million couple a year are waiting to adopt a child. Or instead of aborting just keep the baby. If not able to take care of the child ask someone for help odds are they will help. Just do not kill an innocent baby.
The opposing view would argue that it is a women's right to do what she wants with her body. They would say it is her right to get an abortion. It may be the women's choice but what about the baby. The baby has no choice in the matter. It has no choice but to be killed before it is even born. Now walk a day in the baby's shoes would anybody want to die before even being born.
In summary, abortion is killing a baby. It can have severe effects on body and on mind. It may even lead to death. There are many other options other than abortion. Why would anybody want to kill an innocent baby before birth. Abortion is truly wrong and should be stopped. Now think is killing a baby worth it or would it be better for everybody to use another
