Being honest was taught at a young age that it was more moral than lying. Many believe that honesty is the best policy in life despite, that in reality deception is needed to maintain a civilized society because it’s needed for our lives to run smoothly.
Although, the truth is important, lying is needed for daily life for various reasons.
