Is reading good for you? Does it change anything? Do you actually get smarter by reading? I believe that reading does make people smarter and it is good for you. One may say that reading doesn’t do anything to you and it is just for fun or using up time and doesn’t teach you anything, but I’m going to show you that there’s more to it. One reason I think reading is good for you is because it increases your intelligence. When you read a book you have to remember a lot of things like different characters also all the plots throughout the whole story. All of these create new memory in your brain which means new synapses are being created and existing ones are being created. The recalling capabilities improve as well.
