The bombing on Japan was justified and the right thing to do. I believe this because the bomb saved American lives(Arguments Supporting the Bomb: Argument #1). If American troops were to invade the Japanese mainland there would be far more casualties and the war would have continued longer because the Japanese tradition was to fight until the death(Arguments Supporting the Bomb: Argument 1.1). Also, even after the devastation of the bomb,The Japanese Emperor was still hesitant to surrender(Arguments Supporting the Bomb: Argument 1.3), which means that Japan was willing to fight until no one was left or they won.
