School Shooters are a major problem. They create devastating results. Not only do they kill the people that they shoot, but they also kill a little piece of every loved-one of that person, and themselves. Think about the consequences of your actions. You are not just taking one person’s life, no you are taking a daughter away from her mother and father, a boyfriend from his girlfriend, a sister from her brother, maybe even a mother or father from their son. A life has a ripple effect, it is not just one tiny splash, instead it touches every person that has ever had contact with this life, and even some who haven’t.

Regina Brett, a Pulitzer Prize winner, said “No one really has a bad life. Not even a bad day. Just bad moments.” I agree with her. Life is worth living. Remembering the good times allows us to overcome the bad moments, or if you cannot remember anything that is good, then have hope that something good is going to happen to you in the future. Do not give up your life or anyone else’s life just because you are encountering a bad moment, you are better than that. Do not forget that you deserve to let yourself live a long and happy life, and as corny as that sounds, it is the truth.
School shootings are a complex situation. There is more involved than a gun, a bullet, and a corpse. It is more than a game of tug-of-war between life and death. No, it is a poison, a tragedy, and a reminder. A school shooting, or any shooting really, spreads sadness and discontent into the society, into the world, just like a poison. The people in the community start to feel unsafe, and angry. They mourn the dead and the loss
