Why Starting School Should Start Later

Sleeping and relaxing during the night is very important because you are basically getting charged for the next day. Without sleep you will feel very grouchy and not as active and ready to start your day. For adults you need at least 7-8 hours of sleep and children need about 9-10 hours of sleep so that your brain and blood is flowing and ready learn the next day. That is probably why your teacher says you should sleep and eat plenty of breakfast before taking a test because then you won't feel fatigue. As a teen we don't know how important it is to get enough sleep and think it's fine to sleep late. Changing the time of starting school to later is a great idea! It will only encourage them to sleep later. Then that time will also become early because their bodies get used to that time and when they go to bed later then this will be a problem because they will receive equal amount of sleep from before. On the other hand, if the school starts school later then it will have to end later and that wouldn't be good because there are activities, clubs, sports, etc. that students will attend after school. Getting home late will prevent students from attending anything after school because once you get home you have other things to do such as: homework, chores, or something to do and you won't have time for that if you are getting back home late. Then it leads to having bad grades in school. Staying up late is one of the bigger reasons why it's harder to wake up early. There are many reasons as to why teenagers are up late because they are having to do a load of homework or are on their electronic devices checking their social media or just getting distracted by it in general. Maybe the student is taking harder classes and he/she has a ton of homework to finish and turn in by the next day and takes
