Phil Robertson’s Book: Happy, Happy, Happy, is a miraculous story of how Great God truly is. This book tells the story of how Phil Robertson became the man he is today. The novel goes in to depth about the struggle, that he and his family faced and how they came to the point in life as to where they are now. It is a truly an amazing story. After reading this book, my whole perspective towards the Robertson’s changed. Given that, they have a lot of important values. God, love, manners, family, friends, work and loyalty. This family is a strong unit happiness. Even though, they may all fuss and fight. They deeply care for each other. You can clearly see this family has a heart for God. God is mentioned throughout this entire book. In addition, love is also a major character in which this family displays, throughout the book. There is so much love in the Robertson household. Mr. Robertson explains how there were times in which he and his family have invited many people to his house for dinner. Mrs. Kay would always make a divine meal. Growing up his father would take him and his brothers on hunting trips. His father taught him how to hunt and fish early on, in his childhood. Many kids nowadays just want to play video games and be on their cell phone. He believes this is silly and a waste of time. When Phil grew up, he played games outside with his siblings. He spent time exploring the fields, woods, and swamps, that surrounded his home. He instilled these practices in his kids. Whom he says, are a lot like himself, when it comes to the outdoors. Since his family taught him a lot about how to survive rough times. If a second Great Depression were to happen, Phil states he would be ready for it.
