I believe the school board should extend the school day. Three reasons why I agree with the school board is you get to spend more time with friends, students can receive extra help from teachers, and you will not have as much homework.
One reason why I agree with extending the school day is you get to spend more time with friends.
School is not only a learning environment but a social one as well.
It is often the only place kids get to see and talk to their friends.
Studies show that social interaction can be very beneficial to students.
If the school board was to extend the day, it will offer many benefits to the students.
Receiving extra help from teachers is another reason why I agree with extending the school day one and a half hours.
