Do people enjoy murders? The notorious Stephen King has given an article about why the average person likes craving horror. According to King's article “Why We crave Horror”,We all have specific reasons on why we go to see people getting killed like to have certain feelings about a bad situation. But mostly we go to for fun,to show that we’re brave,and to feel the rush of a jump scare. We all go to feel the rush of watching someone being killed. Such as the enjoyment of watching people getting killed and which has caused us to make horror movies “the modern version of the public lynching (King,”we crave” 2). This makes us feel like we need more of the lynching and more of the screaming when the movie has a jump scare so that gives the rush of wanting to see more people being killed . A example of a piece of horror we like to crave is in a story “Strawberrying Spring” by King and which the story tells “The guy killed somebody else last night. In reality everybody loves spending time with their friends or family so what's better than going to watch a horror film. Then again nobody goes anyway, unless they are forced to or they go for fun which why people go to watch horror films just for fun nothing more nor nothing less. Surely things they might enjoy is this scene in Strawberry Spring the story says “ I can hear my wife crying as I write this in the next room, she thinks I’m cheating and was with another woman last night and oh god I think so too” (King, “Strawberry Spring” 5).
