To them, animal rights is completely wrong. The text Animal Rights states, “Animals don't behave morally, Animals are not members of the 'moral community.”This proves that animals don’t deserve the rights since they aren’t moral like us so animals shouldn’t have the same rights as us. As some think, their conscious isn’t like ours so why should they have rights like us? Since they figure animals aren’t moral, clearly, many people are against animal rights. Not only do they think animals shouldn’t have animal rights but also think that “this meant that animals were not the sort of thing that was entitled to have any rights - or indeed any moral consideration at all” (BBC).
