To carry out the bit of the assignment that involves calling specific food programs, I made efforts to contact the SNAP program. However, I was informed that they did not have any information that would be valuable to me. They insisted that they could only answer questions to a retailer. I also contacted the WIC program via call, but no one answered my call. After that, I resorted to emailing 15 people from the company. I only got two replies from the 15 emails I sent out. The two replies were from Melinda Newport and Castaneda Debra. The replies did not provide any valuable information. They only asked me who I was and why I was seeking information about the program. At this point, I indicated that I required the information for my class assignment. They referred me to some websites where I could get all the information I required. The program provides nutritional services like nutritional assessment as well as nutritional education. WIC also aids in promoting and supporting breastfeeding in mothers. WIC has had several achievements in their efforts of impacting the society's nutritional behaviors as well as habits. Research indicates that WIC is a nutritional program that has succeeded in improving the health and the nutrition of families that have low-income earnings. Moreover, the role of WIC in providing better nutritional services has aided many infants and children to grow healthier.1 Eventually, due to the availability of better nutrition and health services, the children can record good academic achievements. In addition to that, women who participated in WIC had gestation periods that lasted longer. Moreover, such babies were born with a higher weight. Finally, WIC participation contributed to a lower rate of infant
