A wild horse with a striking brown color, is gracefully galloping in a free range, fresh cut grass, it’s mane blowing swiftly in the wind with a fierce look on its face. I just described a breathtaking, sensational wild mustang. Mustangs were brought here by spanish explorers. Since the 16th century their location, population, threats to their existence and some habits, have all changed since then.
Mustangs are spirited, free roaming animals. They are found in Western states where there is a life supply of grass to eat. The Spanish brought them they used to be located in the east but now are in the west. Western states have mountains and large acres of grass for mustangs to roam in.
The population of mustangs is fewer than 50,000 however
