It has been said that many people have debated and argued the essence of mankind over the years, yet no finalized conclusion has been found; nevertheless, we see that humans have an inner instincts of evil, but what do we see as evil? Is it murder, stealing or, something unmoral like? As human beings we are capable of evil itself. Novelist William Golding emphasized his views on the subject of man essential illness as he wrote his novel, The Lord of the Flies, which is a tale of a group of young british boys who have been stranded on an island by a plane crash with no adult supervision. Golding shows how the boys who were once civilized became into savage, cruel, evil beast. As i feel that humans are inherently evil. Golding gives us a visual of how society changes us to be more civilized; how humans have a moral conscious and an immoral side all while battling between both sides of what is wrong and what is right. …show more content…
Naughty or Nice? “In a stressful environment we’ll step on whoever is in front of us to survive” (Paul j. Zak). As humans we are naturally born to be selfish and to do whatever it takes for us to survive, even of it means putting someone else's life on the line. “When in a safe environment, having a biology of mortality sustains our place in the community of human who help ensure our biological imperatives. If we are around in an acceptable environment we come down to our safe-zone where communities are peaceful. Moreover, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs ,which include physiological needs, safety, love and belonging, esteem for ourselves, and self-actualization are all basic needs that need to be fulfilled on order to feel satisfied and happy. If any I these needs are lacking, it is known that anything would be done in order to achieve those requirements, even if it means to hurt someone
