Winsor McCay is known as one of the first cartoonists ever in history, he had his own style of drawing and often experimented with his work in dime museums and vaudevillian acts which ultimately led to some animated films like Gertie the Dinosaur, The Sinking of Lusitania and How a Mosquito Operates. I am at Midtown Comics in the second floor where they hold all of their back issues. While I’m checking out the action figures I see out of the corner of my eye a girl holding a comic book with a figure that most resembles Little Nemo from Little Nemo in Slumberland one of Winsor Mccay’s most notable works in his career.
