The year of 1692, an important event occurred, killing over a hundred people was The Salem Witch Trials. The unfairness of this event came to seeing the guilty and not guilty. Not everyone got what they were asking for or expecting. This bloodbath of an event that will always be history and no one will ever forget about it.The reason no one will forget this event would be because people got hung and they would put weight on their chest so it would make the lungs collapse and hit the lungs. For example, “ As another stone was added, his last words are believed to have been, “More weights!’” (Background Essay).With that being said this started the bloodbath of an event called the Salem Witch Trials.The causes of the Salem Witch Trial of 1692 was the town division, young girls lying, and jealousy.

One cause that really didn’t cause the salem witch trial would have been the town division. The town division was where the town’s people segregated themselves from each other. In Document E, there is a line of separation and on the east side of that line there are more people begin accused of witchcraft then there is on the west side. This was caused from three big reasons: town division, young girls lying, and jealousy.
