Women not only play a diverse role in the society presented from the passage they are featured in, but they can also serve as an example of how far women have come in a society. Women in literature are not only nurturing, faithful, desirable but also full of tricks and are resentful when their needs and wants aren’t met these aspects of women help explain their role in society.
Sappho serves as a great example of the role of a nurturing woman. Though from the perception on lookers reading some of her lost poetry one might question her love and nurturing is of that of a woman.
