Stone

My grandmother always said to me “Never say goodbye because goodbye marks an end , so you must always say I’ll see you soon , no matter how long until you meet next.” Moving forward from when she first told me; goodbye’s have been hard for me to say and even harder to hear.

Wonde V. Paasewe was a remarkable man , a loving son , caring father , and a compassionate sibling but above all he was my Uncle “Stone”. He coined the name Stone from being a very strong man physically as well as intellectually; He was innovative, always creating new ideas while challenging me to create my own and set goals higher than I could ever imagine. Four years ago in the summer before I moved from New York to Oregon he challenged me to read a book
