What do you see as the potential impact of word choice and these stereotypes on both children with disabilities and their families? As an educator I am looking at history repeating itself with some acceptance from the society. Many families with special needs children has overcame many obstacles. However, the facts remain the same when it comes to stereo types and the stigma dealing with special needs children they’re still viewed differently.
