L Boxing was second in popularity to baseball. Once World War II erupted, Americans loved boxing. Americans still love boxing (Wolfson, 2), It’s risky and that’s why people enjoy it. It’s no lie that boxing is a working-class sport. That is why so many middle-class people find it unpleasant (McClintock, 2). That isn’t a reason for wanting boxing banned. Boxers want to fight. They do this for a reason, so let them be. Boxing is a choice that they make for themselves. One fight’s total gross will rack up to an estimated one billion dollars. This includes the sales from merchandise, buying the fight on television, and other auxiliary sales. Famous actors, entertainers, musicians, athletes, and politicians fill up the front rows of these boxing
