There are some things both of the videos have in common. They both talked about the WWI, and especially what happened after it. Both sides talked about the conflicts with Germany. This is important because, in both videos, they made it as if Germany was the true enemy. Both videos talked about how Germany tried to prevent U.S from trading with the Allies and ended up with sinking the Luciantian. Another two topics they talked about is Wilson and his strive for peace and the League of Nations and the somewhat changes made for women. They seem to portray the U.S as innocent, as the good guy. But in my opinion, if the U.S had not taken sides with the Allies by trading with them, the U.S would not have lost so many lives due to German U-boats. Both videos are pro-America, they talked about America and what happened to the U.S during and after. The depression in America due to the war was another big topic between the two videos. What they were missing where Germany’s and other countries’ point of view and what happened during and after the war. They also move very fast with the information provided.

OtH (video one) talked about a subject the second video (USH) barely covered; the life of an African Americans. OtH had a whole section based on the troubles and racism African American faced while trying to fight for their nation. For the post-war details, OtH focused on Wilson and his strive for peace while USH focused on the citizens of America. One import detail to note is that USH stated what lead to the start of WWI; however, OtH did not. From the very beginning of the USH’s video, it was very pro-American. It showed past events that have happened in the early U.S historical events in the introduction. It did talk more about the troubles America had to face during the war than OtH did.
