Writing is an essential part of my life. There was a huge change since I realized the important of writing. In the past, I had a difficult time dealing with writing. When I was in high school, I got many troubles in writing. One common problem is that I didn’t know what should begin with the introduction. It was not also led to my score being below the average but also made me feel uncomfortable. Therefore, I had to make an appointment with my literature teacher to figure out the reason. She told me that nothing better than every day practicing and gave for me some interesting tips in writing. From here, everything had changed. I began to write at least 2 essays each day and followed her instructions. Therefore, my writing was improved a lot. I began to realize that writing has provided for me many opportunities to develop myself. For one thing, writing is the tool for self-expression. It helps me organize my thought and make my conception become more clarified and coherent. Moreover, writing represents who I am and what I know. My ideas, concepts and even my attitude are also recognized in every single word in my essay. Moreover, writing enables me to express my feeling in various aspects. In addition, writing also helps me to define where I am, what are my strengths and weaknesses. Thanks to the advantages of writing, I can have multiple points of view and a general vision on the same topic. Writing gives me more courage to tell the truth and not be afraid of the risks. Therefore, writing has made a significant impact on the way that I express myself.
Another advantage of writing is that it helps me rearrange the way I live. First of all, I did not used to take notes when listening to the lecture when I was in high school. Then, I realized that I had lost a lot of main information in the lecture because of the lack of notes. I also got problems when I reviewed materials for the exam.
