Bipolar disorder is a serious mental illness which is also called manic-depression. Patients with bipolar disorder have poor emotional conditions either extremely excite or excessively depressive. For example, individuals experience unhappy childhood may have more mental problems after growing up and to cause potential manic-depression; for adults, if the surrounding environment is extremely competitive, more depressed emotions may be caused, then individuals will resist the outside since they are over anxious; considering the factor of life-style, irregularities in the diet and daily schedule will cause the situation of bipolar disorder, while for some individuals who drink seriously and use drugs, their mental conditions will be chaotic, continuously, the probability of causing manic-depression will be increased. It is obvious that reasons to cause manic-depression will be diversified. However, multiple reasons when facing the illness of bipolar disorder will be challenging even considering the contemporary medicine; moreover, mental illnesses can be treated while they cannot be cured completely; furthermore, negative moods carried by persons who have manic-depression will affect others and to lead to the passive emotions. Therefore, treatments for manic-depression should be innovative and multi-dimension.
