Subscribers relate to her on a personal level as they watch the vlogs of her daily life as well as the inspirational videos on her main channel. Success on YouTube has allowed her to publish several popular books. This lifestyle guru also has released a popular range of products labeled “Zoella Beauty”. Largely aided by the advent of smartphone technology, Zoella’s story is just one example of how smartphone technology has been beneficial. Not only has the development of smartphone technology caused society to be more interpersonally connected than any other time in history, it has also made people safer and more well-informed.
Even people with fewer social media followers than Zoella can influence others with the help of their smartphone. People are able to build communities while using certain social media free of charge through the single touch of a button, and they can share important news and their views. Years ago, printed textbooks were essential for teachers and students. Now, teachers and students can take advantage of technological innovations, such as smartphones. In modern day education, printed textbooks are used less frequently than in the past. By using mobile technology to access digital textbooks, students and teachers help protect the environment by reducing the amount of paper used. The use of smartphones and related technology also helps to prevent students and teachers from using dated information, which often occurred in the pre-digital era when the same printed textbooks were used year after year. Easily accessing up-to-date information through mobile technology is especially beneficial to students who need to conduct research. Conducting research from personal devices allows students to retain newer information because they are equipped with an instant, infinite library, unlike in the past, when only a certain amount of
