 A standard drink is any drink having 10 grams of alcohol.

One standard drink always have the same quantity of alcohol regardless of container size or alcohol type for example is beer, wine, or spirit.

(BAC) means quantity of alcohol present in the bloodstream. It is measured as weight per unit of volume.
More drinks you make the higher the blood concentration. Your BAC also depends on including body size, whether or not they have eaten recently, percentage of body fat, whether they are male or female and whether or not they have drunk before.

If I find myself or my friend in an unsafe or

dangerous situation with alcohol, I would assess the risk involved. For example, if my friend drank is vomiting because of drinking a lot. I ask him that if he is alright and then call an ambulance if I have to. Another example is drink and drive. If my friend is driving a car and tells me to open a beer, I could straight no and tell him the effects of drink and drive.

Be attentive of your surroundings. Knowing where you are and

who is around you may help you to find a way to get out of a bad situation. Try to avoid remote areas. It is more hard to get help if no one is around. Trust your instincts. If you feel a location is unsafe or uncomfortable, it probably isn’t the best place to be.
Make sure your cell phone is with you and charged and that you have cab money.
Don't allow yourself to be isolated with someone you don’t trust or someone you don’t know.
Prevent listening to music with headphones at night in both ears so that you can be more aware of your surroundings, particularly if you are walking alone.

Alcohol could affect a person’s life in many different ways. These ways

can be physically, mentally, socially or financially. Firstly, alcohol can damage the nervous system and destroys brain cells. Different parts of the brain are more sensitive to alcohol than others. Alcohol is a pollutant that damages the communication of nerve impulses in the brain and nervous system. People often drink to relax themselves or many people drink to try and mask anxiety or depression, or other mental health problems. While alcohol can have a very temporary positive impact on our mood, in the long term it can cause big problems for our mental health. It’s linked to a range of issues from depression and memory loss to suicide. Alcohol can affect person’s life socially. For example, when you go to a party and drink a lot you are not a person without. Then you might have an argument with your friends and the next day you realise that they aren’t your friends anymore.
