A modest Proposal
Overpopulation is becoming a large problem in the world, especially in places like China. Living conditions and spaces are becoming limited forcing more poverty and extreme economic problems. Even with the “the one child per family policy” the population is still the fastest growing in our world today. At this rate by the year of 2025 the population will be 1.5 billion, and surely that will continue to rise.
With the technology we have access to today and information about the brain, it is eligible to say that our brains could be preserved for years, this including our bodies.
I propose freezing humans until a later needed time, this being said once a person reaches age 10, they may be frozen and then re-thawed once the population is decreased enough to let more people in. Since this means that some of their parents might be dead, there will be waiting lists for the children to be released into a waiting family. Each family will be checked out and approved before the child returns to their home. Each person that is freezed will receive a check when released to help pay for education such as college. Throughout the time being frozen the children will have not aged and just pick up where they left off. If a child is released while their parents are still living they will be let back in with their original family. This will be a normal thing to think about and partake in by age 10. It will help our economy thrive and help the problem of overpopulation.
