Everybody assumes that having single sex schools are a good idea because then girls don’t feel like they have to compete with each other because of the boys. People believe that girls would be more involved and focus with their education if boys were not in the picture. I think that that is wrong. I believe that single sex schools should not even exist. Having same sex schools is wrong in different ways especially for kids in high school
When girls go to a high school with only girls, it can cause a lot of chaos. When you put a lot of girls into a room together, drama starts to occur because girls are dramatic and trouble makers. Girls love to gossip, talk about each other, and they like to do grimy things. You cannot trust a girl because they are always looking out for themselves and they do not care who they have to hurt to get what they want; class president, prom queen, most popular girl, etc. grouping hundreds of girls into one school is a good decision if you want a lot of drama to happen but bad if you are trying to have a peaceful school.
Single sex schools can ruin a kid’s social life. When you are around the same sex, you do not get the experience of being in a co-ed environment. They do not know how to act around the opposite sex because they were always around their own sex. They aren’t accustomed in being surrounded around the opposite sex so they start to seclude themselves from everything and everybody making them have no social life.
Being in a same sex school might also make girls or boys start liking each other
