I will return

As Brian sat by the water's edge with his fishing stick, his mind wandered back to just two months ago when he was still living with his mother in the city, with which he was very familiar.
'I wonder what class is going on now?' pondered Brisn, trying to remember what days of the week it was and what time was it without the help of a calendar or a watch. 'I wonder what class is going on – perhaps it's Science,' guessed Brian. 'They probably have finished learning about the Sixth Extinction already,' thought Brian jealously. Before Brian could think up anymore of his favourite sciences classes, a stream of bubbles appeared on the surface of the water distracting him away from his train of thoughts. 'It has to be a creature that could breathe under water,' concluded Brian.

It was just as Brian predicted. A creature's head popped out of the water. Its head was nearly as big as Brian's but the characteristics of the head tells Brain that it is a sea horse. But its head was too big to be a sea horse, therefore Brian concluded that it was probably in the family of 'Ichthyosaurs' even if it does look like a sea horse only about a hundred times larger. Perhaps it was the way that this creature evolved – on a lonely island with no predators – especially humans! The main difference that Brian noticed was the bright blue scales that covered the creature's entire head.

As he stared at the creature, he raised his left arm and gestured wildly for the creature to go away. This caused his bracelet to sparkle in the sunlight. To his utter amazement, the scales on the sea horse's head seemed to twinkle back at Brian in a similar way. As Brian found this to be very fascinating and as many waves of warning came over and over again in his mind, the curiosity of Brian got the better of him, so, he slowly stood and wadded into the shallow water. The creature didn't seem to mind at all and floated there patiently until Brian was directly in front of it.

'Hello,' greeted the creature mentally.

Brain suddendly looked around. Behind the trees, behind the plane and back at his home, no creature was around.

'Anyone there?' said Brian, quietly at first.

'Anyone there?' questioned Brain, louder.

'Yes, I'm here.' The words came into Brian's mind as easily as though they were said out loud. 'Who?' said Brian.

'I'm right infront of you!' communicated the creature.

Brian whipped his head around and faced the creature. 'That was you!' replied Brain, shocked by the enormity of what had just happened.

'Of couse, it was me, who else would it be? I am the only one here,' explained the creautre.

'I know, but how are you communicating with me? asked Brian out loud.

'Because of your bracelet of course but no time for that, I need you to rest for tonight and come at the crack of dawn tomorrow, I need your help but to need to rest,' explained the creature.

'Ok!' said Brian.

After Brain arrived back at his cave home, he tried to use the
