Application of Number

Introduction
I have been given the task by my manager to find out which item of school uniform we sell the most of. I am going to focus on a 3 month period from October-December to achieve this task.
I am aware that we currently stock 8 items of school uniform, so I plan to keep a tally chat and put a graph in place. We currently have a spreadsheet in place and I plan to cross reference this with my tally chart. I have discussed my plan of action with my assessor Tyrone.

Sources of Information
My main source of information was to log a tally chart over a 3 month period. My completed tally chart is below.

Calculations
Below are my calculations for each item of clothing sold for the months of October, November and December.
Rugby Tops 6 + 5 + 3 = 14
Sweatshirts 3 + 5 + 3 = 11
Girls Cotton Jumpers 12 + 14 + 11 = 37
Boys Cotton Jumpers 15 + 3 + 10 = 28
Wool Jumpers 2 + 4 + 2 = 8
P.E Tops 17 + 8 + 4 = 29
Girls Skorts 1 + 3 + 2 = 6
Ties 18 + 4 + 3 = 25
To clarify to myself my calculations are correct, I cross referenced the totals against the
