Bottled water versus tap water has been a big controversy over many years. People have an addiction with bottled water. Most people would agree that the argument for drinking bottled water is basically the taste and there are others who believed that bottled water provides a more safe way to consume the water we need. Others believe that bottled water has no difference and that the mass production of plastic created from bottled water is hurting our ecosystem. These arguments make it hard for the consumer to decide which side to pick on this topic. There are very good reasons for the world wide arguments on tap water versus bottled water. Tap water is somewhat free depending on where you live. The only thing being recycled with tap water is the water itself. Tap water creates many jobs like being tested and regulated, electric, well workers, factory workers etc. People can’t always count on tap water. The fact that people have natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical storms, earth quakes etc. is the reason people can’t count on tap water. During these events the plumbing/ pipes can be damaged to where people cannot use tap water to drink, and then everyone in the disaster without water dies. Very harsh but everyone will die without water. Without water people can’t only drink but they cannot water plants to eat, animals can’t drink and will die then people have no meat to eat either so they all die. Good thing people have bottled water otherwise in natural disaster we would die. Sure plastic is messing with our ecosystem but that can be fixed. In natural disaster bottled water can be supplied and stored for emergencies. Bottled water is very portable, making water drinking easier and doesn’t have a weird taste or smell.
