As most of us know, there have been debates on whether bottled water or tap water is better for us. Some may say that bottled water is better because it is clean or pure and some tap water may have lead or other contamination's. In addition to this, some bottled water are enhanced with other minerals. On the other hand, those who like tap water agree that bottled water is way too expensive and should be cheaper. To clarify, tap water cost less than a penny per gallon while bottled water cost up to $1 per 20 ounce bottle. In one of the sources provided, bottled water is treated with UV lights in order to kill bacteria, filtration, and ion exchange in order to not have excessive minerals. Along with this, some scientist have claimed that the plastic from the bottles can leak into the water when stored in hot temperatures. In conclusion, there is no problem with drinking tap water however, some people just drink bottled water because it is more convenient and it taste better for some. However, there is also filters that people can use to clean tap water instead of using bottled water. Additionally, bottled water is polluting the Earth with the amount of water people drink on a daily basis. Also, as I stated before, bottled water isn't as strict than tap water, meaning that bacterial or chemicals can be placed in bottled water, and we wouldn't know about it. Overall, I strongly agree that tap water is better than bottled water because you are capable of filtering the tap water, and you wouldn't have to worry about chemicals be placed into the water, instead of wasting money that cost a thousand times more on bottled water in which you do not know if chemicals are
