Military Sacrifice The military is a well respected occupation that often comes with many struggles. Military families need to be able to live normal lives, because moving around and being separated causes too much stress and anxiety. A lot of people question how this affects military children, commonly referred to as "Military Brats." Because of the lack of family stability at home, Military Brats often become very headstrong and independent. Most female Military Brats often grow up and marry a military service member, and the male Military Brats are likely to join the military when they grow up. By using more flexible people the military families will not have to be separated. Unfortunately, the courts deemed this to be discrimination even if the service members want to follow this policy. The third and final major problem that military families face is stress about what they are going to do once they retire. The most common reasons for this stress are: the retired service members are unsure where or when they will get a job and some find it hard to let go of military life.
The first solution is to allow the military members to work and get paid until they have found a new job. The second solution is to slowly ease the retiring service member out of the military so that they will not be out of their comfort zone just like that, and will not struggle to let go. The final solution is for retiring service men and women to be considered, first, for local positions. This will reduce service members stress and improve their chances of staying where they are after retirement. Although the military men and women seem completely fearless they have so many struggles that impact their family lives. These American heroes go through so much and all deserve a thank you. Many changes should be made to ease the stress on these brave families and maybe soon it will be possible to reduce the burden carried by military families.
