AC6.1: Explain the characteristics, requirements and purposes of different types of events
There are many different types of events each event has a different purpose.

Staff training, this could be in-house training or external training and can be on a variety of different things including practical skills or any new training on software that may be available to members of staff. Exhibitions and trade fairs. These are designed to bring company and production information to the customers. These are included demonstrations of new products or explanations of new services provided. Presentations of different software or anything that your company/ department stands for will be presented. For example when working in community safety, I went on many different trade fairs and exhibitions to speak to the public to let them know about the service which we provide. We would give out things such as safety key chains, whistles, and window alarms and explain the service which we provided in conjunction with the police.
