Overall, the modification or removal of the Fourteenth Amendment is ridiculously expensive, unwise, un-American, and damaging. Eliminating birthright citizenship will increase the undocumented population instead of decreasing, which is what Republicans want. Along with this, it is unwise to remove it because the economy will suffer greatly. Not only will it take a 5.7% plunge downhill, but it will also take a great amount of money and time to remove all illegal immigrants and birthright citizenship.
