It is human nature to trust our senses when coming to a conclusion, our senses have kept us alive for hundreds of thousands of years. However in William Shakespeare Renaissance era romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare uses the motifs of magic and dreams to develop the theme of the differences of appearance and reality.
