Rhetorical Analysis

This assignment was met with diligence and was rewarding as to knowing how the author writes. By analyzing the way the author achieved their goals or what their purpose for writing their piece. Very different from other forms of writing when it came to analyzing such pieces. Knowing what to look for when it comes to logos, ethos,and pathos, one can determine what the author wish to convey to the reader. All of which will help in writing papers that reflect ethos, pathos and logos to sway the readers to what side is being debated on and to read them in other pieces of writing. This assignment did meet the criteria, but there is always room for improvement. Especially when the author is trying to persuade the reader to see his intentions about the subject matter while also trying to be unbiased. By doing revisions, one can easily see whether or not that they are being biased within their paper, which had helped in finding and correcting biases in this paper. So the only difference was to summarize each source used in the community problem report in APA format. This assignment has met the criteria that was required from it which in turn will help by using the skills attained by quickly summarizing credible sources for any paper being written. This process also helped to weed out sources that do not support the argument that the author is trying to make. The student models in the RWS text came in handy as examples of what an annotated bibliography should look like. The revision process had helped by re-summarizing the main points of each source efficiently and directly. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect when it comes to writing and with this assignment, the skills learned should help in any subject matter that requires an annotated bibliography in APA
