To be an American is to have pride for yourself and to be welcomed in a melting pot. To be an American is to have all of your rights you wish to be heard. To be known as an American is to choose the religious freedoms that you want to believe in. An American can interact with each other socially. To be an American is to live out the American dream; the dream every immigrant came to America for. However not everyone is able to live out the American dream.

To be an American is to interact with each other socially. This means to treat the person around you as if they were American. No matter who you talk to being an american can start conversation with one another. Such as if you go somewhere you already have something in common with that person because you are American. Given this type of freedom being able to interact with each other can cause much conflict. This is because many people may be able to take things a step further to hurt someone else. This can cause major rivalry between groups of people as well as different cultures of people. …show more content…
