I most strongly agree with that they should be sentenced to prison, but that’s only if the kid looks broken. Hey, they’re only kids that’s is until they foul up. Until they commit crimes and the bigger the crime the more eager we are to call them adults. According to Robert Baden-Powell “ juveniles crime is not naturally born in the boy, but is largely due either to the spirit of adventure that is in him, to his own stupidity or to his lack of discipline of the individual.” I think this quotes means that teens are only trouble makers if they aren’t disciplined or are just wanting to do stuff to just be cool, and they don't think of the consequences. Court's thinking by lowering the life sentence for teen kids it would help.” People were scared because people thought by putting kids with other trouble kids that it would be a mess, but it all turned out fine and lowered the rates. While politicians and prosecutors press for hard-line stands against youth offenders. The judges should send the teens to a rehab and see if the kid is not progressing and if they do progress they get a second chance, and not be sentenced to adult court and be tired as a juvenile. If the kid shows not effort or does not progress within the rehab they should be charged as an adult, In conclusion I believe that teens should be tried either as an adult or as a juvenile according to either if they are broken or not. They should be given a couple of weeks of rehab and see how they do, if they do meet some requirements they should be given a second chance but if not they should be tried as an adult in
