The Indians choosing not to fight the white men traditionally but instead going to court and John Marshall found in favor of the Indians, but Jackson thought differently he still made them move west. Moving the Indians to Oklahoma in the Trails of Tears was detrimental to Jacksons political career and it was also devastating to the Indians, killing 4,000 along the way due to cold, hunger and disease. Calhoun and Jackson fought over tax on imports and it hurt the economy in the south.
I don’t agree with Jackson’s decision to move the Indians out west, I think that better more negotiated plan should have been in place; even the Supreme Court didn’t agree with it, but for selfish reasons he and everyone that backed him went
