The successful novel “Animal Farm”, written by George Orwell, is filled with allegories of the Russian Revolution and Communism. The entire story is an allegory of what went wrong when Karl Marx created communism. The characters created animalism, which represents communism during the Russian Revolution. The symbolism in the book is represented by different characters and events throughout the story.
